About the Journal

The Khwarizmi Journal of Intelligent Sustainable Systems (KJISS) is an open-access academic journal published twice a year. It was founded in 2026 by Khwarizmi University of Science and Technology in Tripoli, Libya.

The journal is dedicated to high-quality research and follows a strict double-blind peer-review process to guarantee the standard of every published paper. To help research reach the public faster, KJISS uses a continuous publication approach — once a manuscript is accepted, it is posted online right away, giving authors quick recognition for their work.

KJISS welcomes submissions in a wide range of fields, including:

  • Cybersecurity and networks

  • Artificial intelligence and data science

  • Economic and service-oriented systems

  • Engineering asset management and systems engineering

  • Energy systems and emerging technologies for sustainability
